After getting my cup of coffee at a café in Christchurch, New Zealand, I followed my hand as it looked for an outdoor table to put down the coffee.

THERE SEEMS TO BE an unwritten rule that it’s not possible to get good pictures before the sun comes up or after it goes down. After all, if there’s no light, then why bother? Nothing could be further from the truth.
